Equinox: chapter 1

He was just another turian set amongst the other patrons, eyes closed and face lifted up. He felt the pounding music in his flesh, in his bones, in his plates, and it lifted his spirits. He loved to be in the midst of the pulsating masses. They didn't care who he was or what he had done; they were solely focused on totally hedonistic desires. He was one of them.

I did it again. Trying to shake off an art funk, I took an old piece and updated it into something...interesting. This time an old one of my incubus Sam that I did at church camp summer before last >.>

Ooooh, I got to watch this precious baby come to life and it's truly wonderful! I would have never guessed it to have been a pencil sketch beforehand! Methinks you're starting to master this technique in such a short amount of time and whatever helps for art funks, I say!

Just. The skin. It's so smooth and looks like porcelain. I want to touch it but I don't want to risk breaking it. And, leaving the cloth red was a good choice, as it really helps give this piece that extra ooomph to give it depth. And, you know I'm a sucker for contrast, which is why I bugged ya to keep him lighter and the background darker. 'You gotta punch your darks', the professor would pound into my head and now, I will haunt you with it, ah ha ha ha!
